I can't remember, when and why I decided to travel, but now I know it was the best decision I made in my life!

Actually the original plan was going to Australia to do Work&Travel for 1 year. After a longer research, I figured out, that it isn't possible to work in Australia as an Austrian. :( So my longest possible stay would have been 3 months. I thought about wwoofing (farm work) for a while, but then decided, that it wouldn't be the right thing for me. So, I was thinking of traveling without working and that's when I first tought about an around-the-world-trip.

To finance my travels, I started working as a waitress for 1 year right after I passed my a-levels. That's when I searched for the right insurance, backpack and other useful travel gadgets. I was pretty prepared for all eventualities..

It was a spontaneous decision to fly to Bangkok, because a friend of mine recommended me to go there so when I booked my flight in June 2015, I was like "why not?" I wanted to stay there for 2 weeks. Sydney, Auckland, Cape Town, Dublin, Reykjavik, Toronto and Miami were my planned destinations, in which I wanted to stay for 3-4 weeks.. that's what I planned.
