Today we visited the Snaefellsjökull National Park, in which we went into a lava cave next to one of the most dangerous volcanos in Iceland. Afterwards we drove back to Reykjavik and on the way we stopped at a hot pot again :)

Today we went to Snaefellsnes and on the way we stopped at a hot pot :D and then we saw Kirkjufell, which is one of the most beautiful mountains in Iceland :)

Holmavik yesterday at night :)
Today we went on a pretty snowy road to Isafjördur. It is the capital of the Westfjords. On the way was a hot pot at the sea and we saw some artic foxes at the arctic fox centre. :)

Akureyri :)

Today we went to Asbyrgi Canyon where we saw this frozen lake. Afterwards we went to Husavik for a short break from driving.
Then we went to Myvatn Lake, where we saw Grjotagja cave, which used to be a hot pot but now it is too hot. We also visited Hverir, which is a geothermal area. After that we went to the Myvatn Nature Baths.
On the way to Akureyri we stopped for Godafoss Waterfall, which is just beautiful. And last but not least Akureyri by night. :)

Today we didn't do much because we wanted to go to Dettifoss and Asbyrgi Canyon but the roads were closed. So we went through different road conditions to porshöfn where we found this airplane and those curious sheeps. And I can see the sea and the lighthouse while laying in bed.

Today we drove along the Route 1 Ring Road and went to Sveinsstekksfoss Waterfall and to some hidden hot pot which was amazing!! No signs or tourists and such a beautiful view :)

Today we visited Fjadrargljufur Canyon and Skaftafell Nationalpark, where we hiked to Svartifoss waterfall. People in Iceland have reeeeally big cars, ours is almost 1/3 that size.. :P We also saw the glacier tongue and the Glacier Lagoon at Skaftafell. Than we went to Diamond beach, which is a beautiful black sand beach. :)

Today we started our roadtrip and went to pingvellir National Park, the crater Kerid and the Geysir Strokkur and saw maaany waterfalls. One of them is in a cave so we had to go through the river to get into it, at another one we could go behind the waterfall. I got pretty wet..

Yesterday we went around Reykjavik and visited the harbour and Kolaportid (flee market) where we saw the speciality rotten shark which is supposted to taste really ugly.. So we didn't try. We also went to Hallrimskirkja (church) and Solfar (sculpture). Afterwards we drove to the view point Perlan and Kleifarvatn, which is also called black lake. At night we went out for dinner and I ate a whale steak, which was really good!

In 5 days I will be in Reykjavik. I really can't wait for Iceland! I actually planned my world trip all around Iceland and than I haven't been there.. and finally I am visiting my favorite destination! :)
